Daryl Tyrone Flood Jr.

In loving memory of DJ, we gather today to remember and celebrate the life of Daryl Tyrone Flood Jr., a beloved husband, son, father, brother,uncle, friend, and a child of God. He is survived by his wife Nia Flood, his son Jaiden, his daughter Jasleen, his father Daryl Flood Sr., his sister Natasha, his niece Sopheia, his niece Saniya, his nephew Messiah and his brother Lee.

Although DJ faced many challenges, including the struggles with addiction, his faith remained a strong anchor. He was a testament to the truth that every person is more than their struggles more than their addictions more than their outer appearance. Each person is cherished, valued, and worthy to be loved by God. DJ shared his unique, wild spirited. and loving personality with those he loved the most. He shared with his family and friends, his laughter, his love and many memories that will be cherished forever. His journey was not easy from childhood to adulthood and he faced many trials that he tried to overcome, but he was a survivor and a fighter.

He loved to learn new things and study them until they were mastered. He was a hard worker and with every job he got he always excelled in it and his bosses praised him for his talents. He loved God and studied the Bible at one point in his life, it was like the air he breathed.

God did breathe life into him when he took him home. He saw his weariness, he saw how tired he was from his struggles but pressed on regardless.

He will have a new life in heaven where there’s no more pain, no more hurt, no more torment, and no more addictions that kept him from being his true self, the man who God created him to be. Today we entrust DJ to God’s eternal care, believing in grace, forgiveness, and the promise of peace. May we honor his memory by showing compassion to others, especially those who struggle in this life and by holding onto hope even in the darkest of times.

Thank you all for coming and for showing your love and support in celebrating DJ’s life. He will be loved and truly missed and forever be in our hearts!

Most importantly, I would like to extend my deepest gratitude to my father in law Daryl Flood Sr. for making all of this possible. Thank you for honoring your son’s memory!

Daryl Tyrone Flood Jr., age 36, of Menifee, California passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2025. Daryl was born in Moreno Valley, CA.

A visitation for Daryl will be held Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Miller-Jones Menifee Memorial Park and Mortuary, 26770 Murrieta Rd., Menifee, CA 92585. A Funeral Service will occur Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 26770 Murrieta Rd., Menifee, CA 92585. A graveside will occur Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM, 26770 Murrieta Rd., Menifee, CA 92585. A reception will occur Wednesday, September 3, 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM, 26770 Murrieta Rd., Menifee, CA 92585.
