David William Atencio

David is survived by his brother, George Atencio and his children Danny Atencio Sr. , Tina Handlan and her husband Tim Handlan, and Tammy Austin and her husband Vaughn Austin, and his grandchildren Ricky Riddle Jr., and his wife, Sarah Riddle, Danny Atencio Jr., Michael Riddle and his wife, Tracy Riddle, Shana March and her husband, Matthew March, Summer Atencio, Zachary Austin, Jennifer Austin, and Beau Austin and his wife Jenae Austin, And his great grand children Skyler Riddle, Hailey Riddle, Hannah Riddle, Hollie Riddle, Makayla Austin, Colby Austin, Easton Austin, Luke Sparks, Ian Atencio, Cheyenne Schachter, Tye Schachter, McKenna Atencio, Noah Nicole, Aiden Martinez, Ricky Riddle III, Matthew March Jr.

David Atencio, age 83, passed away on September 15, 2023. He was born on February 26, 1940, in Columbine, Colorado to Mary and Joseph Atencio he was the forth of five children. His family eventually settled in Dragerton, Utah which is considered his hometown.

David will be remembered for his love for his family, his hobbies included team penning, waterskiing, dirt bike riding, camping, and fishing. He was also a car enthusiast, and he had a passion for restoring classic cars to their original form.

He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
