

Later down the road, after finishing high school, he joined the marines and served his country for eight years. He fought valiantly, throughout his tenure and aided the United States on the front lines during the entirety of the Gulf War. After leaving the marines, he returned to college, where he majored in the arts. He went on to pursue a career as an IT professional and excelled in his field for decades until his passing.
In 1992, he began a family with his devoted and supporting wife, Daude Marie Hayes. Together, they went on to have three children over the course of 33 years of marriage.
A loyal and honest man, who showed nothing but brave heartedness, tenacity, and honesty, in everything he did, throughout his whole life; from playing with his children, to staying up late at night studying and working, to serving his country, Duane Spencer Hayes Sr., put his whole heart and being into everything he did, always giving his all, for those around him.
He is succeeded by his children; Duane Spencer Hayes Jr., Hannah Marie Hayes and Parker Quinn Hayes.
As well as his grandchildren; Hendrix Mekhi Hayes and Jaire Quintin Hayes.
And a host of loving brothers, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A visitation for Duane will be held Monday, August 18, 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Miller-Jones Menifee Memorial Park and Mortuary, 26770 Murrieta Rd., Menifee, CA 92585, followed by a funeral from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM.
