

Frances was born in Cleveland, Ohio on January 7, 1947, she attended Glenville High School class of 1965. After graduation, she remained in Cleveland for a number of years before relocating to Southern California where she began her healthcare career. Frances received her LVN, RN, BSN, and MSN soon after relocating. Frances began as a LVN in Labor and Delivery and worked her way up and became Director of Nursing for the County of Los Angeles. Frances Retired after 26 years with the county; and ended her career holding the position of Health Facilities Evaluator Nurse with the State of California.
Frances was an advocate for learning, she had many hobbies that included reading, and crochet. She also loved to travel and take her family and friends with her. She wanted everyone to experience the beauty and historical value of our world. Frances was also a great historian and taught all her friends and family histories of our world.
Frances succumbed to her illness at home surrounded by her family and loved ones.
Proceeding in death are: brother Terrance Henley, mother Therese Henley, father Reverend Charles Henley, sister Zalaunda Fussell, sister Brenda Hutchins.
Frances is survived by sister Kandance James, brother Kevin Henley, daughters, Danette Perkins (DaLysha/Elijah), Lisa Evins (Nicole/Nickolas/Nicollette/Nicos), sons, Blanal Cook (Blanal Cook Jr.), Adriel Bratton (Adriel Bratton II/Amara Bratton), Whaylin Bratton (Nia Bratton/Sterling Bratton). She also has a host of nieces and nephews along with a host of friends and extended families.

Her big personality and joy for life has touched the lives of so many people in different ways.
