Maria is survived by her husband, Jaime Velgara; her daughter Nancy Guzman; her daughter Deisy Velgara; her son Jesus Velgara; and her daughter Cristina Torres; her grandchild Destiny Sophia Velgara, her grandchild Alexander Guzman, her grandchild Leo Guzman, her grandchild Michelle Rodriguez, her grandchild Caleb Luis Velgara, her grandchild Benjamin Santiago Velgara and her grandchild Dominic Ezekiel Torres.

A visitation for Maria will be held Monday, June 26, 2023 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at St Vincent's Catholic Church, 27931 Murrieta Rd, Menifee, CA 92585. A funeral service will occur Monday, June 26, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 27931 Murrieta Rd, Menifee, CA 92585. A graveside service will occur Monday, June 26, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Miller Jones Menifee Memorial Park and Mortuary, 26770 Murrieta Rd., Menifee, CA 92585. A reception will occur Monday, June 26, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Miller Jones Menifee Memorial Park and Mortuary, 26770 Murrieta Rd., Menifee, CA 92585.

Serving as pallbearers are Jaime Velgara, Jesus Velgara, Luis Cordova, Eleazar Guzman, Junior Torres and Heriberto Rodriguez.
