Martin Charles Dedrick of Dana Point, California, died on December 23, 2025, at the age of 88. Martin lived in San Gabriel, California as a child and graduated from Pasadena High School in 1955. Martin went on to Pasadena City College and earned an Associate Degree in 1958 and then to Woodbury College in Los Angeles, California earning a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting in 1963. Martin was employed by General Dynamics in Pomona and Pasadena until his retirement in the 1980s.
Martin was a 56-year member of the Masons of California and the recipient of two prestigious awards by Arcadia Lodge 547 and 278: The Hiram Award on August 15, 1983, for exceptional selfless service and dedication to the fraternity and community and the Golden Veteran Award on October 19, 2019, for reaching 50 years or more of membership in good standing.
In 1963, Martin married Marilyn Schwab (Skeoch) who passed July 9, 2018. Martin is survived by his two daughters, Malissa and Malinda along with four grandsons Connor, Mark, Brett, and Andrew as well as two son-in-laws Michael and John.
Martin was a lifelong baseball fan and loved attending Dodger games, as well as baseball game, soccer games, and any events involving his four grandsons. Martin will be missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace.
