Pamela Eileen Lach, a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on January 12, 2025, at the age of 80. Her love, kindness, and generosity touched the lives of countless individuals, and her legacy will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Born in El Paso, Texas, to Matthew and Sabina Deplewski, Pamela grew up in Chicago, Illinois, where she met her future husband, Ronald Lach, at Lindblom High School. The couple married on August 31, 1963, and celebrated 61 years of marriage last year. Together, they raised three children, John, Michael, and Cindy, in the Ivy Hill neighborhood of Arlington Heights, Illinois.
In 1991, Pamela and Ronald relocated to Canyon Lake, California, where they spent the past 34 years surrounded by the beauty of nature and the love of their family. Pamela's family was her greatest joy, and she took immense pride in her roles as wife, mother, and nana. She never missed a birthday or sporting event, and her presence was always felt at family gatherings.
Pamela's kindness and generosity extended far beyond her family. She had a natural instinct to help those in need, and her tireless efforts made a significant impact on her community. She was a true champion for those less fortunate, and her selflessness inspired countless individuals.
Throughout her life, Pamela cherished the lifelong friendships and friend groups she established. She made it a priority to remain in touch with her dear friends, and her relationships with them brought her immense joy.
Pamela is survived by her loving husband, Ronald; her three children, John (Joanna) Lach, Michael (Tanya) Lach, and Cindy (Jason) Williams; her eight grandchildren, Leah, Matthew, and Katie Lach (and Parker), Kendall and Dylan Lach, and James (Kaitlin), Justin (Lauren), and Jaden Williams; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Matthew and Sabina Deplewski; her brother, Matthew Dee; and her sister, Marilynn Tykal.
As we mourn the loss of this extraordinary woman, we take comfort in the memories we shared with her and the lessons she taught us about living a life of love, kindness, and compassion. Rest in peace, Pamela. Your legacy will live on in our hearts forever.
We would like to thank Emma, Irena, Joseph, Jessica, Jennifer, Abby along with her friends and family for the heartfelt care they provided.
