

(Nee Umhoefer), Died peacefully at home January 5th 2012 with family by her side. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years Roy “Bud”, parents Harry and Mary Umhoefer, sister Loraynne (Goetz), and brother Ralph. Dear and loving mother to Lynn, Roy (Patti), Mary (David) Kettleson, Tom (Janet), and Jane (Denis) Wisniewski. Proud and loving Grandmother to Tammie, Guy, Corey, Matt, Bridget, Emily, Kristine, Melissa, Andy, Luke, Laura, Jake, Tommy, and Katie. Great-grandmother to Sarah, Lindsay, Molly, Noah, Jesse, James, Phoebe, Lily, Maddie, Connor, Shamus, Amaurie, Kaden, Jaycee, Cash, Dylin, Ethan, Evan, Nathan, Andrew, Brandon, Hailee, and Cooper. Great-Great Grandmother to Dylan and Michael. Also survived by her sister Dona Meyer, brother Curt (Julie) Umhoefer, sister-in law Doris (Clarence) Slais, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ruby met the love of her life Roy, at St. Boniface Church festival in 1942. They were married and went on to have five children. They shared a long happy marriage. Ruby had a vibrant soul and made her mark in this world with her witty sense of humor, amazing style, and pure gracefulness. She was a devoted wife and mother to not only her own children, but also helped to raise many others along the way. She had a knack for planning, and organizing and used those skills when helping her husband with his businesses’. She made every holiday special and memorable, and would always make you laugh. She was greatly loved and she will be missed dearly by so many.
Visitation Wednesday, January 11 from 9:30 AM until time of Funeral Mass at 11 AM St. Boniface Catholic Church, W204 N11940 Goldendale Rd., Germantown. Burial at the church cemetery on Friday, January 13, at 11 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions appreciated.
