Alberta Alma Herb

Alberta Alma Herb (Castillo) of Merced, California passed away on February 16, 2022. Alberta was born on May 8, 1971. Berta will be remembered as a one of a kind person who always had a powerful energy around her that made her presence well known. She was a mother to her eight children and a stand-in mother figure to many others. She was a strong woman that enjoyed living her life. Berta was a friend that was there for you day or night; she was always just one phone call away. Her spirit and memory will live on in those who loved her and shared life’s special moments with her.

Alberta is survived by her children, Robert Cortez Jr., Alexis Baez, Hazell Castillo, Cashmere Castillo, Damaris Mercado, Alyana Castillo, Anjahlina Castillo, and Adam Castillo III; her parents, Alexandria Hernandez and Angel Castillo; brothers, Angel and Adam Castillo; sisters, Arleen Castillo, Annette Castillo, Grace Barragan, Angelina Castillo, and Audrea Castillo; her grandparents, Ercilia McDonald, Clemente Castillo, Albert Hernandez, and Edna Ayala; and her ten grandchildren. Alberta is preceded in death by Adam Castillo.

A visitation will be held for Alberta at 4 Life International Center on Thursday, March 17, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M.. A funeral service will be held the following morning, Friday, March 18, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. at 4 Life International Center in Merced, California.
