Alford served in the United States Army National Guard for 21 1/2 years before retiring. He was the Pastor of the Lord's Temple MT. Zion.
Alford was a loving husband, caring father, doting grandfather and great grandfather. He loved his family. Above all he loved the Lord and lived for Him. He lived a life of servitude and spent his time spreading God's word. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. He will be truly missed by his family and his church.
Preceding Alford in death are his parents, Wayne and Helen Janice Kepford; his brothers, Henry Edsel "Eddie" Kepford and John Robert "Bobby" Kepford.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 44 years, Maria "Nina" Kepford of Merced, CA.; his sons, Chad Donaldson of Prattville, Alabama and Justin "Santos" Kepford; his 3 grandchildren, Cole, Brooklin and Simeah and 4 great grandchildren.
