spent most of his life in Merced. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anastacio and Ernestina Garza. He is survived by his children, Miranda Monique Garza and Leah Nicole Garza, of San Antonio, TX, and his siblings, Gerardo Salas, of Fresno, CA, Kriselda Barahona, of Delhi, CA and Octavio Garza, of Merced, CA.
Astolfo had a successful career as a State Farm agent and prior to that worked in the automobile sales and finance industries. He loved to spend time with his family and especially enjoyed fishing, dancing, and making people laugh. Above all, Astolfo was a proud father of his two daughters, who are glad to have made him proud.
A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 22, 2015 from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, Ca. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 23, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, with burial to immediately follow at Merced District Cemetery.
