Brandon John Maldonado

Brandon enjoyed fishing, music, camping and spending time with the people he held close to him.

He was a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin. His beaming smile, twinkling eyes and the sound of his laughter and voice will forever be in our hearts. His kindness and generosity touched all walks of life both young and old. He will forever be missed by many.

Brandon was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jose and Belia Maldonado; maternal grandparents, Alvin and Bernadine Bristow; and his beloved dog, Major.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his mother, JoAnn Areias of Merced; father and stepmother, John and Crissey Maldonado of Los Banos; brothers, Derek Areias of Oakdale, Joseph and Jon Maldonado both of Dos Palos; sisters, Athena Bellamy of Redding and Emily Maldonado of Dos Palos; nephews, Randy Bascue Jr. of Corvallis, OR, Ty Bascue of Redding, and Ayden Galindo of Dos Palos; and niece, Rylie Mays of Redding.

A memorial service will be held at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B St., Merced, CA on July 13, 2013 at 11:00am.
