Catalina Castillo, age 60, passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2010 in Sacramento, California. Catalina was born in Tulare, California on July 23, 1950.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carlos P. Castillo and Emilia B. Castillo.
She leaves behind three children, Adam Covarrubias, Darnel Castillo and Alicia (Lisa) Marie Jackson. Catalina also leaves six sisters, Emilia Acosta and husband Florencio, Balbina Fain, Cecilia lopez, Carlotta Villalobos and husband Reyes, Gloria Barragan and Irene Lyons; three brothers, Carlos Castillo and wife Patricia, Jose Castillo and wife Miriam, and Robert Castillo; and six grandchildren, Marcus Dajoon Jackson, Marquis Darrius Jenkins, Malcolm Henrique Russ, Damari Dupree, Jayden and Xavier Castillo.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 18, 2010 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. with the funeral service following at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Assembly of God Church, 1021 R Street, Merced, California. Burial will be private.
