Chase Anthony Spielman

Chase Anthony Spielman, 39, of Le Grand passed away on Tuesday February 7th. He is survived by his parents, Carol Hood, (Steve Russo), Anthony Spielman (Patti), his brother, Craig Spielman (Kelsi) and his beloved wife, Jessica, loving sons, Kolten and Taylor and his bulldog Rollo.

Chase was born in Modesto, California and was raised as a farm boy in both Hilmar and Le Grand, California. He graduated from Golden Valley High School in 2002 and went to work with his dad on the family orchard. He branched out on his own and began working in the hay industry and was very proud of his last position as manager for DeJager farms overseeing their steam baling operations. Chase could BBQ an amazing tri-tip and loved sharing his smoked dinners with family and friends off the knife. He enjoyed making homemade pretzels during the holidays with the boys, being at home with his family and bulldogs, baling or hauling hay with friends, and being on the sand volleyball court on the beach in Mexico. He often was the life of the party and had a gift for making those around him laugh.

The service will be held at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Merced on March 4th. Rosary will be held at 8:30 am and the Mass will begin at 9:00 am. Celebration of Life will take place after the service and be announced soon.
