
David Neal Flowers, age 45, of Merced, California passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022. David was born on June 26, 1976 in Fresno, California. David moved to Merced at an early age and attended Chenoweth Elementary School, Hoover Middle School, and Merced High School (Class of 1994). During his time at Merced High School, he participated in Future Business Leaders of America where he placed second in the Accounting II Central Section competition his senior year of high school. He loved playing basketball, football, and softball and watching sports on TV. He was a Raiders fan. He also loved playing computer games online where he made many friends. He also attended the Community of Christ Church. He loved fishing with his father at Lake Don Pedro and Lake McClure. Everyone knew him as a very compassionate and loving person.
David is survived by his parents Neal and Ginny Flowers; sisters Kathy Bauer (Travis) and Julie Flowers; nieces, Alissa, Audrey, and Rachel Bauer; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends; and his companions, Emina, her daughter Leonzia, his dog Duke, and cat, Trinity. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Glenn and Elnora Brown and Bob and Bettye Flowers.
