Dolores R. Johnson

She Graduated from Merced Union High School in 1956, she was a resident of Merced for over 70 years.

Dolores had met Bill for the first time at 13 years old and rekindled their interest in one another a few years later and married the love of her life on June 10, 1956. She was a homemaker and mother to her three children Mike, Mark, and Connie.

Dolores was involved in the lives of her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids as well as nieces and nephews through the years. She was always there for anyone who needed help or advice. She took pride in being a cub Scout leader. In 1974 she decided to pursue her interest in cosmetology and receive her state board license and did family and friends hair for years.

She was preceded in death by parents Lucille and Harold, sisters Agnes Ingram, Betty Burks

Husband Bill and Son Mike. She is survived by son Mark Johnson and wife Cassandra of Merced; Daughter Connie Fox and fiancé Steve Coffman of Merced; Daughter-in-law Christine Johnson of Atwater

Grandchildren Todd and Brandon Johnson; Shanna Fritts; Amber Zurney, Jessica Johnson and Taylor Crane; Paul and Keith Avila as well as 14 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday March 13,2023 from 3:00-7:00 pm at Stratford Evans funeral Merced. Funeral services on Tuesday March 14,2023 at 11:00 am at Stratford Evans funeral Home, Burial will follow at Merced District Cemetery. Followed by a celebration of life luncheon.
