Donald Ray Wiggins

Donald Ray Wiggins, born August 2, 1956 in Merced, Ca. to proud parents, Lee and Mary Wiggins. Donald departed this life on November 12, 2021 in Merced, Ca. at the age of 65. Donald was one of a kind. If you met him once, he left a lasting impression that would always be remembered. He had a great sense of humor and would often tease all of his nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly as they were growing up.

Donald retired as a janitor after working at multiple medical facilities in Merced, Ca. He was also a great mechanic after being taught by his father.

Donald was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the San Francisco Giants. However his passion was being a serious 49er’s fan and bantering with his family members who were avid Raiders, Cowboys and Seahawk fans. He was also a great artist and loved all forms of art.

Donald accepted Christ as his Savior a while ago, and he has brightened Heaven and the angels are rejoicing now that he has joined his mother Mary Wiggins, father Lee Wiggins, brother Robert Wiggins, nephew Harold Bower Jr., niece Cassandra Boston (Wiggins) and great nephew Camron Roberts who all proceeded his in death.

Donald leaves to cherish his memory, his brothers, Gerald “Buddy” Wiggins of Merced and Orville Wiggins of Sacramento, Ca.; sisters, Norma Smith of Sacramento, Ca., Barbara McClain of Elk Grove, Ca, Janet (Stephen) Bluford of Pico Rivera, CA., and his sister, Audrey Wiggins of Atwater, Ca.

Donald also leaves to cherish his memory his very special friend Betty Ratliff and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
