

Enedina Luna Rodriguez, a beacon of love and joy, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2025, in Modesto, California. Born on October 11, 1942, in Juchipila, Zacatecas, Mexico, Enedina’s warmth and laughter filled the lives of those around her for 82 wonderful years.
Enedina’s journey led her to an enduring love story with her husband Porfirio Rodriguez. Together, they built a beautiful life and were blessed with six children: Salvador, Emma, Jaime, Sergio, Maritza, and Alejandro. Her role as a mother was one, she cherished deeply, nurturing her children with a grace and strength that became the cornerstone of their lives. Enedina's love story extended to her treasured brother and sisters, Jose, Francisca, Graciela, and Lucina, with whom she shared an unbreakable bond.
Her legacy continued to flourish through her 22 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored with every ounce of her being. Enedina's family was her pride and joy, and she instilled in them the values of kindness, humor, and resilience.
Enedina was preceded in death by her loving parents, Arcadio Luna and Juliana Gomez. Their lessons and love lived on through her spirited presence.
Professionally, Enedina dedicated many years to a fruit gift wrapping company, where she worked in line production. Her colleagues will remember her for her hard work, dedication, and the ability to find joy in the simplest of tasks.
Enedina was a woman of faith, regularly attending Old Templo La Hermosa. Her devotion was evident in her love for singing and listening to old classic hymns, which brought her immense peace and happiness.
Those who knew Enedina would describe her as loving, funny, and spirited. Her infectious laughter could light up the darkest room, and her sense of humor brought smiles to countless faces. Enedina approached life with a spirit that was undeniably vibrant, touching the hearts of all who crossed her path.
As we say farewell to Enedina Luna Rodriguez, we celebrate a life lived to the fullest. Her memory will continue to inspire and guide us and Enedina's love story, her devotion to her family, and her unwavering spirit will be cherished eternally. Her legacy of love, laughter, and faith will remain a guiding light for generations to come.
A Visitation Service for Enedina will be held Thursday, July 10, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Templo La Hermosa, 3610 E State Hwy 140, Merced, California.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, July 11, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Templo La Hermosa, 3610 E State Hwy 140, Merced, California.
Following will be a Graveside Service at Merced Cemetery District, 1300 B Street, Merced, California.
