Evelyn was retired from the Merced Irrigation District, Merced, Ca. She did a lot of traveling with the Merced Roaming Elks, 20 years worth. She enjoyed Sunday afternoons get togethers with the girls.
Surviving Evelyn is her son, Dan Thompson; grandsons, Jacob Thompson of Hollister, Ca., and Jeffrey Del Dotto of Merced, Ca.; her parents, Victor and Teresa Traverso of Genoa, Italy.
Preceding in death is her daughter Teri Penner and (husband Charles Penner) and her husband Harlan Thompson.
