Franklin was born to Samuel and Lizzie Koehn in Durham, Kansas on June 5, 1929. He worked in agriculture for 35 years, and had a great mind for fabricating machinery. Franklin loved to ride motorcyles and did so for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Koehn. He is survived by his two sons, Gary Koehn and Steve Koehn; and four grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Merced District Cemetery, 1300 B Street, Merced, CA.
