Jeanne E Moore

Jackie and Jerry both passed in infancy. Jeanne was one of seven children; including two sisters and four

brothers, born to Marion and Elizabeth Landers. Jeanne went home to be with the Lord on July 1, 2017.

Jeanne’s family moved to Merced when she was 5 years old, completing her grade school and high

school education in Merced, with her 8th grade graduation being held in the old Merced Theater. Jeanne

resided in Merced for the better part of 70 years.

Jeanne has joined in eternal life with those that preceded her in death; her husband, James Moore; son,

Gregory Prine (Wilma), daughter, Lori Mendonca (Richard); parents, Marion and Elizabeth Landers;

brothers, Bill Landers, Don Landers, and Michael Landers; sister, Doris Baugh and step‐son, Christopher

Moore.

Those left to share the wonderful memories and values left behind by Jeanne include her daughter,

Susan Zirnhelt (Michael); son, Christopher Prine (Kymm); step‐daughter, Aleta Souza; and step‐son,

Russell (Rusty) Moore; nine grandchildren and 16 great‐grandchildren.

Jeanne was a faith‐filled, active member of Christian Church of the Valley in Merced, where she has lived

an abundant life with Christ since she was a child.

Visitation will be held July 13, 2017 at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, CA.

95340 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A celebration of Jeanne’s life and memorial will be held on July 14,

2017 at 10:00 am at Christian Church of the Valley located at 2212 Cherry Avenue, Merced, CA. 95340.

Graveside Services will follow at Merced District Cemetery, 1300 B Street, Merced.

Jeanne firmly believed that money should be spent on the living, not the deceased, so in lieu of flowers,
