Jeffrey Michael Califro

.Jeff Califro was born to Helen Ford and Nicholas Califro in Merced California on September 8, 1976 and passed away on May 7, 2016 in Merced at the age of 39. Jeff was born and raised in Merced, California where he attended Merced High School. Jeff was most recently employed with Terminex and Merced City Schools, he previously worked for Costco for 19 years.

Jeff was truly blessed by family and friends. He first married Amber Concepcion Califro in 1994 and received his greatest blessings, his children Mariah Adele and Marquez Michael Califro. In 2013 Jeff Married Christina Ochoa Califro and again was blessed by a loving wife and best friend, one of his greatest joys, Cadillac his English Mastiff, his second son.

Jeff was a big supporter of the Rams football team, he was a family man and loved to barbeque and cook for his family. Jeff enjoyed listening to music and spending time gardening.

Jeff is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; Alvin and Bernie Bristow of Merced, paternal grandparent; Nick Califro of Los Banos.

He is survived by his wife; Christina Califro of Merced, children; Mariah and Marquez Califro of Merced, Parents; mother: Helen Ford and step-father: Grant Ford of Merced, father: Nick Califro, step-mother: Darlene Califro of Los Banos, sisters; Chrystal Melden and Jillian Sawyer of Los Banos, grandmother; Joyce Califro of Los Banos along with an abundance of cousins, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The family takes comfort in knowing that Jehovah promises to bring an end to death and to resurrect those who have died –John 5:28

A visitation will be held on Monday, May 16, 2016 from 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home located at 1490 B Street, with

a funeral service starting at 11:00 A.M.
