He worked at Color Press and was a member of Club Mercedes.

John is survived by his wife Elia V. Ramirez, his children John Paul Ramirez Jr. and daughter in law Sarah Moore, Phillip Elias Ramirez, Rondo Ramirez, Christopher Ray Ramirez and Raymond Samuel Ramirez, his mom Esther Rubalcava Ramirez, brother David James Ramirez and sister in law Mayra Ramirez and their children Jocelyn Ramirez and Emma Ramirez, sister Linda Hernandez and brother in law Antonio Hernandez and their children Angelica Failing, Laura Hernandez and Daniel Hernandez, his niece Jessica Ramirez and his two grandchildren Olivia Ramirez and David Ramirez.

He is preceded in death by Ramon Ramirez, Raymond Ramirez and Raymond Ramirez Jr.

Visitation will be on Monday, May 5, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a rosary starting at 6:00 p.m., Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, California 95341.

Funeral service will be on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, 10:00 a.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, California 95341 following with graveside at Calvary Cemetery.

Following the services there will be a reception held at Club Mercedes, 569 W 9th St, Merced, California 95341, starting at 1:00 p.m. and concluding at 5:00 p.m.
