Joseph Gabriel Saelee

Joseph Gabriel Saelee, "Lil JoJO" as most people known him for, passed away unexpectedly on August 5, 2025. JoJo was 21 and lived in Merced, California all his life. JoJo is preceded in death by his father Kai Saelee; his grandparents Anna and Gabriel Mayorga, who he adored. Also his favorite aunt Deborah Mayorga. JoJo leaves behind with broken hearts, his mother Natalie Coronado; his daughter who was his whole world, Aviana Saelee; his grandparents Fuey and Chan Salee; his brother Fabian Saelee, Malichi Saelee, Victor Salas Jr. and Gabriel Castillo "Baby Gabe" all of Merced, California. He also leaves behind his sisters Angel Saelee, Sessica Saelee, Andrea Serena all of Merced, California. JoJo was the most honest person you will know. Whether you wanted to hear it or not, he always kept things 100 with people. JoJo always wanted people to succeed in life and reminded them when they were in the wrong. His big smile lit up the whole room when you would enter it. He loved his hood brothers the most and enjoyed every moment spent with them. JoJo learned that blood don't always make you family, "Loyalty" does! You will be truly missed Baby Booi. He will always be remembered for the unconditional love he had toward his mother and the bond he built with his little girl. With that being said those of you who would like to sit with my son JoJo, the viewing will be held Sunday, August 24, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B Street, Merced, California. A Funeral Service will occur Monday, August 25, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 1490 B Street, Merced, California. An Interment will occur Monday, August 25, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at Merced Cemetery District, 1300 B St, Merced, California. We love you Lil JoJo, you will be forever missed. Fly high with the angels mijo and remember mommy loves you always. See you soon son.
