Kathryn Louise Gomez was born on February 3, 1963 and went home to the Lord September 1, 2014. She was a lifelong resident of Merced CA and worked as Home Health Caregiver. She was a strong-willed woman who had a big heart. Kathy was always willing to help others and will be deeply missed. She is survived by her husband, Vincent Gomez of Merced CA. Her mother Patricia Alcaraz of Merced CA. Her sisters Mary Martinez and Connie Martinez of Merced CA and her brothers Wesley Brin of Merced CA and Pete Romo of Richmond Virginia. Her sons Michael Gomes, Junior Yanez, and Travis Yanez all of Merced CA and her grandchildren Matthew Yanez, Kloe, Tyler and Chase Gomes, Jonnie and Tristan Davis all of Merced CA. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Brin. A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 at Stratford Evans Funeral Home 1490 B Street From 4:00-7:00 P.M., A graveside service will be held on Thursday September 11, 2014 at 10:00 A. M. at The Merced District Cemetery 1300 B Street Merced CA, 95340.
