Mary Lou Gonzales

Mary Lou retired from Ragu Foods after 28 years where she was a Warehouse Supervisor. She enjoyed bowling for many years and bowled at both Bowling Alleys and eventually she won the Highest Score Award. She loved watching her grandchildren play sports. She enjoyed having lunch with her friends, being with her family, watching the Chicago Bears who were her favorite team and she also loved her 2 dogs, Oso and Kibby.

Mary Lou is preceded in death by her parents, Elvin and Mollie Spencer; her sister, Juanita Smith; brother, Edward Spencer; granddaughter, Leah Brown and stepson, Vince Gonzales.

She is survived by her husband Manuel Gonzales; daughters, Barbara Jo (Richard) Rizzonelli and Cheryl (Scott) Copus; son, William Ray (Kimberly) Brown; sister in-law, Helen Spencer; grandchildren, Megan (Anthony) Tafoya, Richard (Sarah) Rizzonelli, Jacob (Sam) Brown, Krista (Nick) Cecil, Craig Copus, Coleman Smith; great grandchildren, Olivia Harrison, Ariel Tofoya, Payton Copus, Garrett Copus and Grant Cecil; stepdaughter, Stephanie (Mitchel) Smith.

There will be a visitation for Mary Lou on Friday, September 10, 2021 at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home located at 1490 B Street, Merced, Ca from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be on Saturday, September 11 at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home at 10:00 am with burial following at Calvary Cemetery.
