Nancy Lee Davies

Nancy was raised in Mariposa and graduated from Mariposa High. She spent time in North Africa, Germany and the Mojave Desert before returning to Merced in the mid 70’s. Nancy worked in the area for the next 22 years at various offices including Merced Orthopedic, Pepsi and Dr. Cochran.

In 1987, Nancy met and married Ted Davies. They enjoyed visiting our National Parks and were trying to see all west of the Mississippi. They also were avid fans at all of their grandchildren’s various sporting events throughout the years. Nancy will be remembered as a devout San Francisco Giants fan.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.

She leaves behind her husband, Ted; her daughter, Robin (Joe) Maiorino of Dos Palos; Ted’s daughters whom she loved as her own, Amanda (Andrew) Harrington of Merced and Nicola (Steve) Walker of England; their grandchildren, Jenna, Joe, Rachel, Megan, Ian, Sarah, Emma, Max, Henry & Fred; and two brothers, Bob (Inky) Ringrose of Mariposa and Howard (Marcia) Yanish of Forks, WA.

A memorial service will be held at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, 1490 B St., Merced, CA 95341 on Wednesday, November 6, 2013 at 10:00am.
