Patricia Jean Ridge

May 30, 1958 - September 13, 2022

Patricia passed away peacefully on September 13, 2022 after a five year battle with brain cancer.

Patricia was born in Carmel, California. As a child she moved throughout Merced County with her family. She attended Merced High School and started work right after: MCOE, Stuart Radiator and then PG&E for 40 years.

She married Bruce Ridge in 1980 and celebrated 42 years in June. They raised two daughters, were blessed with three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Patricia was a voracious reader and bargain shopper; especially with her friends Anne, Pat and Shelley. She loved going to amusement parks and music concerts. She also loved the family’s many pets.

Patricia is preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Neavis Huckobey, her brothers Hal and Gary Huckobey, and her father-in-law Allen Ridge.

She is survived by her sister Dana (Kenny) Wells, Livingston. Brothers Chris (Patty) Huckobey, Minnesota and Rod Huckobey, Merced. Her husband Bruce and their children Jana Reyes and Nicole Ridge. Grandchildren Brandon Reyes, Andrea Reyes, Makayla Reyes, Ethan Reyes; and great grandchild, Joseph Escalante.
