Raymond Ruben Gonzalez

Raymond Gonzalez, age 68 passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024. Raymond was born August 6, 1956 to his parents Eusevio and Fernanda Gonzalez. He worked as an auto mechanic up until the day he passed away. Raymond was also a member of Club Mercedes in Merced, California.

He is survived by his wife Charlotte Gonzalez (Tracy, CA), his children Jeannette Seguin (Terry Seguin Jr.) of Merced, CA, Michael Gonzalez (Seandell Parker) of Merced, CA, Raymond Gonzalez Jr. of Merced, CA and Joseph Gonzalez of Manteca, CA, also his brothers John Gonzalez (Stockton, CA), Michael Gonzalez (Modesto, CA) and Frank Gonzalez (Merced, CA), sister Reina Robles (Merced, CA), his grandchildren Nayeli (7), Jaxson (11), Skyler (13), Amirah (14), Jordan (15), Tori (15), Dominic (18), Matt (21), Gaby (22) and Victor (26). Also is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Raymond is preceded in death by his parents Eusevio and Fernanda, his brothers Eusevio Jr., Armando, Charlie and his sister Lucy Alvarez.

Raymond imparted his value of family and resilience to his children and grandchildren. His legacy of love and strength will continue to inspire those who knew him.

A memorial service will be held Friday, January 24, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Stratford Evans Merced Funeral Home, following with a reception from 12:00 p.m to 5:00 p.m at Stratford Evans Reception Hall.
