

It is with great sadness that the family of Rosa M. Navarro announces the passing of their mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.
Rosa was born in Artesia, Calif., but spent the majority of her life in the San Jose area. She and her husband, Marcos, moved to Merced in 1984.
Rosa’s 4 brothers: Arthur, Bernie, Felix, and Richard, along with her 2 sisters:
Angelina and Adelina, all preceded her in death.
Rosa married Joe/Marcos Anguiano Navarro in May 1939. Their marriage lasted 65 years until his passing in 2005. They had a son, Tommy, born April 25, 1940 and a daughter, Concepcion, born Dec 8, 1941. Neither child lived to celebrate their first birthday. Rosa left 4 generations to mourn her passing.
Her daughter, Marian and husband, Art Ledesma. Granddaughter, Susan Ledesma, Granddaughter, Maya and her husband Matt Davis, Great grandchildren, Audrea and her husband Travis Tuhn, Olivia Ledesma, Isaiah Davis, Joshua Davis, Carina Davis, Marcella Beltran, and Sophia Davis and Great-great grandsons, Tyler and Marco Tuhn, who brought her endless moments of laughter and joy.
She is also survived by her son, John Navarro, His daughters, Jessica Chastain, Tiffany Moskewitz, Lauren Narváez, and Makala Navarro, John’s grandchildren, Gabriel, Vinessa, Amelia, Rylan, and Reece.
On Tuesday, Dec 21, there will be a viewing from 5 PM to 6 PM and Rosary at 6 PM. On Wed, Dec 22 a mass at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, starts at 10 AM and internment at San Joaquin National Cemetery in Santa Nella.
