Susan Ethel Leipart

Susan Ethel Leipart, 66, was born on January 30, 1948 in Chicago, IL., where she was raised and then later moved to Berwyn, IL for 20 years. For the past 13 years she has resided in Merced, CA and on May 2, 2014 she passed away with friends and family by her side.

From 1966-1967 Susan served in the United States Army. For 35 years she worked as a Registered Nurse. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, scrapbooking and she loved her cats.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Fenner and Lorraine St. Clair; and grandson, Dominic Esposito 4.

She leaves behind her children, Kim (Tom) Scrogham, Kate (Dave) Topp and Daniel Leipart; grandchildren, Justin Harrelson, Alyssa Esposito, Mikel, Alex and Kaylee Topp, Danielle and Brooke Leipart; brothers, Robert and James Fenner; and sisters, Linda (Steve) Hand, Pattie (Greg) Hastings and Joan Fenner.

In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial contributions in her name be made to the Merced Humane Society, 1021 E. Childs Ave., Merced, CA 95341.

A memorial service will be held at the Shepherd of the Valley Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1455 E. Yosemite Ave., Merced, CA 95340 on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 1:00pm.
