Benjamin Paul Moore

Services for Mr. Benjamin Paul Moore will be held Wednesday at 11 am in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home. Rev. Shannon Thornhill is officiating, assisted by Revs. Glen McLeod, Larry Hill and A.M. Mansfield.

Mr. Moore, 84, of Quitman, passed away Sunday. He was a retired printer for McGregor Printing. Remembered for his love of working with his hands, he was a very skilled handyman who loved and adored his grandchildren. He was a member of First Pentecostal Church in Quitman.

He is survived by his sons Bruce Moore (Brenda) of Toomsuba, David Moore (Rita) of Jackson, Larry Moore of Leakesville; grandchildren Jerome Moore (Tara), Lashae Mashburn (Jerrod), Ashley Seigle (Jason), Shane Moore (Amanda), Paul Moore (Stevie), Melissa Cash (Donnie), Kimberly Moore, Jennifer Litchfield (Jay) and Kristina Name (Mick). Mr. Moore is also survived by twenty great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; sisters Naomi White (Titus), Joanna Skinner (Kary) and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents James and Brucie Moore; wife Edith Moore; sisters Rachel Moore and Ester Eaks.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons and great grandsons.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5pm to 8 pm, and one hour prior to service.
