Lucille Vaughn Garrett

Mrs. Garrett, 98, of Golden, MS (formerly of Meridian) passed away Thursday. She was a retired secretary for the Meridian Housing Authority and a member of Northside Church of the Nazarene. Mrs. Garrett enjoyed working with her flowers and as long as her health permitted, she was very active in the RSVP program.

She is survived by her sisters Grace Vaughn Pruitt, Gladys V. Stewart and husband A.E. along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Mrs. Garrett was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Carrie Vaughn; husband O.L. Garrett; brother James Kimble Vaughn; sisters Agnes Vaughn Garrett, Jeanette Vaughn; sister in law Jane Vaughn; brother in laws Flois Pruitt and V.W. Garrett.

Visitation will be from 2pm to 3pm the day of the service.
