Mary Jean Curtis

Graveside service for Mary Jean Curtis, age 87, of Meridian, will be held Friday, September 18, 2015 at 11 am in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with Father Frank Cosgrove officiating. Services are under the direction of Stephens Funeral Home.

She passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 15th in Columbia, MS.

Mrs. Curtis was a lifelong member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and a retiree of GMAC.

Survivors include her sons Billie B. Curtis and wife Wyeth of Houston, TX and Dickie Curtis and wife Debbie of Hattiesburg; sister Louise McRae of Meridian; grandchildren Emily Curtis Therrell and husband Ryan, Allison Curtis, John Curtis and wife Sara, Matthew Curtis and Hunter Curtis; great-grandchildren Ansley Therrell and Megan Therrell. She was preceded in death by her husband Brigadier General,(Ret.) Billie B. Curtis, Sr., sister Florine Ellis and brother John Ellis. Visitation will be held 9:30 am to 10:30 am Friday at Stephens Funeral Home.
