Oretha Amerson

Her home going celebration will be held Tuesday July 17, 2012 at 11 am in Agape Fellowship Church

with Rev. Gary Bickford officiating. Stephens Funeral Home handling arrangements. During her life,

the Lord blessed her with 48 years of marriage to Elijah Amerson. She was a reliable and faithful wife,

devoted mother, faithful and active member of Agape Fellowship for 7 years. She worked with the

Ladies Ministries and church nursery. She leaves to cherish her memories children Freddie (Rhonda)

Hare, Cynthia (Louis) Averiette, Walter (Cynthia) Hare and son in law Willie Jenkins, sisters Helen Miller,

Gertrude Scott, step children Nanette M. (Terrence) Ray and Elijah (Telma Lee) Mobley. She also leaves

a host of nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was

preceded in death by her parents L.C. Brown and Daiely Mae Mosley , daughter Rose Jenkins, grandson

Artis Irby, and brothers Robert Morgan Payne and Rev. James Edward Thomas. Visitation will be held

Monday 5 to 8pm at Stephens Funeral Home.
