When I moved to Brevard County in 1978, I went to Charles Fouche State Farm, I loved his staff, and thought Charlie was just great, I know he was a good business man, respected by so many, I know he was a devoted father.  I missed him when he left State Farm, and so hoped that he enjoyed his retirement years.  He will be missed, I will miss him.  Trish Makepeace (Cape Canaveral)

Dear Charlie, David and Andy,
 We did not know Charles very well but, every encounter with him was so enjoyable. I rode the elevator often with him and he made it fun! He would have me laughing in such a short trip and I always looked for him because he could make my day happy with his humor and wit. He was such a warm fellow and I will miss his smile. My husband, Jeff, helped him with his computer and when he came home he would tell me how interesting his stories were and he was a joy to be around. I met Charlie in 1967 when I worked as a claim rep for State Farm Insurance.  We had lunch many times, always discussed his fish tanks in the office with huge Oscars in it.  He was a real nice person to know and to interact with.  He'll be sadly missed for his humor and intelligence.  We're so sorry to lose him.  God bless the family.

I am very sorry of your loss of "Foozie", in the 70,s and the 80,s when we would come down from Virginia Beach to visit with Butch and Keith we would go to visit with Virginia and "foozie". We spent many good times with them partying and Golfing  at the Rockledge Country Club. "foozie" alway got me in some wild betting golf games,fortunely we somehow managed to win..
Foozie played much harder than he worked, when I would stop by the office and say lets play some golf, he was ready to go.

There will never be another one like him!
He can now reunite with his loving Virginia.

My deepest sorrows go out to all the family. I remember when my mother(Evelyn Houchens) worked for him I would go up there to see mom and he would put me to work putting all the files back in the file cabinet. Very nice memories.
