David B. Leidolf was born September 6, 1925, in Floyd Knobs, Indiana. He passed from this world on June 24, 2016. He was the son of Clarence W. and Blanche E. (Christian) Leidolf. He is preceeded in death by his best friend, and beloved wife, Elaine F. (Alexander) Leidolf, his parents, his brother, Harold Leidolf; his sister, Martha Marquette; his daughter, Rita Wagoner; son, Jackie Lee Wagoner, and granddaughter Dawnetta Madden. He is survived by his son, David Lee Leidolf (Merritt Island); daughters Dee Anna Leidolf (Merritt Island); Gina Leidolf Adrian (LaFollette, TN), and Sherry R. Wagoner (Pekin, Indiana). He is also survived by two brothers: Oliver Leidolf and Arthur Leidolf. He also leaves behind his “buddy,” a miniature Schnauzer named Pepper. He had 12 grandchildren. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, worked for Federal Truck Lines, and for the General Services Administration at Kennedy Space Center. He will be dearly missed.
