

Frances Alice Principe Schindehette, age 93, of Ocala, FL (formerly Cocoa, FL), went to be with our Lord on July 13, 2015. Frances was born on November 9, 1921 in Washington, DC, to the parents of Luigi and Elizabeth Principe. The youngest of five children, she attended schools and business college in DC area, and worked for government agencies. Married for 51 years to Harry M. Schindehette, Sr., until his death in 1993, Frances and Harry moved to Cocoa in 1950 where she worked for Civil Service at PAFB, several local lawyers, Brevard County School Board, and Thrifty Nickel Want Ads upon retirement. She gained a multitude of life-long friends through her membership at First Baptist Church of Cocoa, local organizations, her work, and her children’s schools. Frances loved family and relatives, enjoying vacation visits, and many moving to Florida as a result of visits. Her favorite activity was writing letters, thank you notes, and any other reason to correspond. She loved her Florida Gators, and would enjoy any opportunity to attend a game.
Frances is survived by her three children: Harry (Jackie), of Ocala, FL; Mary (Bill) Gregory of Cocoa; and Barbara (Nicky) Jackson of Myrtle Beach, SC;10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. Her son, Richard, predeceased her in 1963.
Services will be held on July 31, 2 pm at Florida Memorial Gardens Chapel, Rockledge, FL, followed by graveside internment.
