Giovanna Marie Torino

Giovanna Marie Torino, age 84, of Merritt Island, Florida passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023. Giovanna was born and raised in Bronx New York then moved to Stony Point New York where she lived and worked as a homemaker for 37 years raising her family prior to retiring to Merritt Island in 2000.

Preceded by her late husband Albert (Dad), her parents William and Lina Sica (Our Grandparents) and her brother Richard Sica (Our Uncle Richie) Giovanna is survived by her 3 children Rena Mocerino (husband Richard Mocerino) of Merritt Island FL, Andrew Torino (wife Regina Torino) of Goshen NY, and William Torino of Toms River NJ, 9 Grandchildren Nicholas Torino, Richard Mocerino (wife Collette Mocerino), Daniel Mocerino (wife Tiffany Mocerino), Joseph Mocerino, Christopher Mocerino, Christina Steinke (husband Michael Steinke), Jenna Ferrer, Carina Torino, Giovanni Torino and 9 Great Grandchildren Jayce, Jackson, Juliette and Jade Ferrer, Gabriella Steinke, Richard Jr and Sophia Mocerino, Paislee and Landyn Mocerino.

A visitation for Giovanna will be held Thursday, July 20, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, 1360 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953. A funeral service will occur Friday, July 21, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 1940 N. Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL 32953.
