Gladys Patricia Johnson

Gladys Patricia (Pat) Johnson of Rockledge, Florida was given her wings to heaven on February 29, 2016. Pat was born in Samson, Alabama on March 21, 1932 to the late Henry Lee and Mollie Mae Morris. Pat was peceded in death by brothers John, Victor, and Joe Morris; sisters Eula Brooks, Lillian Day, Elmer Harrison, Lois Sims, and Lutissia Lee.

Pat was married and later divorced to the late Jeff Johnson Jr. of Enterprise, Alabama. Pat is survived by her daughter Dianne Cooper and son-in-law Chet Cooper of Rockledge; FL. Survivors include her two grandson; Jeff Cooper (Cheri) and Scott Cooper (Lindsay); great grandchildren Jackson, Ella, Evan, and Mallory; including the Hickey’s, Taylor and Delaney; sister –in-law Frances Clark Enterprise, Alabama and Gwen Morris (Clearwater, FL) and several nieces and nephews and Friends.

Pats first job was working in a Cotton Mill at age 14 in Enterprise, Alabama. She also worked at Kilgore Groves in Clearwater, FL as a Fruit Packer for several years. She later spent 20 Years at a Cigar Factory worker in Clearwater, FL. Pat later worked as a Deli Manager at Publix and retired with 15 years of service.

Since her retirement in 1988 she lived with her daughter Dianne in Rockledge, FL. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family extends a “Special thank you” to the wonderful care provided by Dr. Ric Henriques, Dr. H. Girgis, Dr. A.Morales, Dr. V.K Kumar, The Rockledge Dialysis Team, and The Huntington Place Staff/Nurses (assistants) and the Wuesthoff Hospice Team.
