Irene "Pat" Catherine Miller

Irene Catherine Miller (Christie) died Sunday January 9, 2011 while hospitalized in Holmes Regional Medical Center where she was born seventy five years previously, then Brevard Hospital. Nicknamed Patsy by her Mother she was known as Pat by friends and Family. She is predeceased by her Mother Nina Welcome Christie and her Father Gerard Edward Christie (Doc Christie). Doc Christie was the first physician in Titusville and instrumental to bringing in Jess Parrish Hospital. Pat worked in her father's medical practice following study at Florida State University. Her family with two sons was the center of her life and bliss. Later Pat volunteered with Project Response. Predeceased by her son, Richard E. Miller, Pat is survived by: son Gerard “Jerry” and his wife Debra Miller, step-grandsons, Christopher and David of Spring, TX; brother, Ed and Marcia Christie of Titusville; niece's family Paul and Debbie Brabson of Cocoa and their son John ; and nephew's family Edward Christie of Sanford and daughter Alexis Ann Christie of Miami. A Visitation will be held at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home Sunday, 1/16/11 between the hours of 5-8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, 1/17/11, at St Teresa's Catholic Church in Titusville, FL followed by internment at La Grange Cemetery.
