Joann Meredith (Gillespie) Rootsey , 45, of Indialantic formally of Quincy, Massachusetts went to be with her Savior and Lord on Saturday, January 26, 2013. She was surrounded by her family and friends. She was a loving wife, active in the ministries of her church and above all she loved and served the Lord Jesus Christ.

Joann was raised in Quincy, Massachusetts and graduated from North Quincy High School in 1985.

Joann leaves behind her husband Rick, children Jimmy, Charlie and Sarah, her mother Joan Gillespie, brothers James, Scott and Rance, and sisters Dawne and Gayle. Her father, James W. Gillespie and brother David have gone ahead and are greeting her in Heaven.

Relatives and friends are kindly invited to Joann’s memorial service on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 3:30 PM at St. Mark’s United Methodist Church in Indialantic, Florida.

Flowers will be received at the church after 9AM Thursday.
