Joseph Albert Palmer

Joseph Albert Palmer, loving husband of Yvonne Braster Palmer. Father of Kimberly (John) Fisk, Tamara (Ronald) Palmer, Laurel (Darrel) Swanson, Tara Palmer and Cameron Palmer. Brother of Nelson (Cay) Palmer, Dennis (Patricia) Palmer, Joella Brady, and Terry (Jim) Chastain. He had 12 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

He was a Viet Nam war veteran and retired in 1973 after having served 24 years in the U.S. Air Force.

The Boy Scouts of America was a large part of his life for over a quarter of a century, serving as commissioner for many of those years.

He was a loving family man who will be sadly missed!

There will be a memorial service held at 1pm on Wednesday, December 19 at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home.
