Lynn was the beloved wife of Donald V. Cornish, mother of Charles W. Mehlhorn, Jr., and step-mother of James M. Cornish. She is also survived by her brothers Dennis Miller, Richard Miller, Jimmy Miller and her sister, Kim Shack.
Lynn adored being grandmother to Micah Mehlhorn, Brady Mehlhorn, Ethan Cornish and great grandmother to Sabreigh Payne, as well as beloved Aunt to Holden Miller, Sam Miller, Marlon Miller and Gracie Miller. She found great joy and considered herself very blessed to have close friends, Terri Arnold, Patty Reed, Karen Stuart and their families.
Lynn and her husband Don loved to travel the globe together. When they weren’t traveling, they were home nurturing their four adopted “children”, their cats: Trevor, Ollie, Jessica and newcomer, Smokey. When in Pittsburgh, Lynn and Don loved going to Danny’s Hoagies. Lynn was looking forward to going back to work at the law firm just a few days a week to spend time with her friends and co-workers.
Even though she will be deeply missed, the love and memories she shared will remain an eternal comfort in each of our hearts. Looking down on us from up above, (and, per Don, probably while watching the last season of Game of Thrones on HBO), we still hear her laughter and feel her love. And if we listen closely enough, we will hear the whisper of a warm thank you sent to all of us for being such a special part of her life.
Please donate to your local Animal Shelter in her name.
