Vera Biondi Beale

Vera was born in Flushing, Queens in New York City in 1944. Vera graduated from St Joseph’s College in Queens, NY, with a degree in Teaching. She was certified in 1964 by the state of New York. She moved to Florida in 1967 when she married Richard E Biondi. Once in Florida, she became a teacher at Gardendale Elementary School teaching Kindergarten. After a few years, she became a teacher at Merritt Island Christian School, teaching 4 yr olds and Kindergarten. She was into arts and crafts and had a collection of crafts that she had made and given away over the years. She was on a mission trip to Indian in 2008, where she spent a week ministering to locals, and surviving in a different culture. During Covid, she met Gene Beale at Courtenay Springs Retirement Village. Within a few months of walking around the property, they were married by an oak tree in Georgiana area of Merritt Island.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Eugene Beale, 91, this past July. She is survived by her sons Richard Biondi, and Michael Biondi, her sister Elaine Halka, and her stepchildren, Cathy Reith, Nancy Belanger (John), Michael Beale (Jody), and Joey Beale.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Wylie-Baxley Funeral Home, located at 1360 N Courtenay Pkwy, Merritt Island, FL, 32953. The service is scheduled for March 23, 2026, starting at 12:00 pm.

Refreshments will be available afterwards.
