

Alberto Antonio Da Rosa,83, passed away on September 16, 2014. Alberto was born in Macau in 1931 and moved to Hong Kong as a child, then to London as young adult and finally to the United States, where he met his beloved wife of 52 years, Emelina.
In his early adult years, Alberto was an avid hiker, badminton player and harmonica player. In addition, he loved to travel, dance and sing. After earning his electrical engineering degree, he spent most of his career as an engineer, manager and consultant in the refrigeration industry.
Alberto enjoyed life and people. A talented, but humble man, he never took himself too seriously, but always saw the good in others, ready to lend a helping hand so that others could reach their potential.
Alberto is survived by his wife, Emelina; his sisters, Zuly and Miriam ; his two sons, Edward (and wife, Petia) and Gerald (and wife, Andrea); his grandchildren, Nathan, Jason (and fiancée, Kate), Natalie (and husband, Gabriel), Alexandra and Evan; and his great grandchildren, Adam and Genevieve. Loved by many across three continents, Alberto will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held Monday, Sept. 22nd at Lakeshore Mortuary, 1815 S. Dobson Road, Mesa, AZ from 6 to 9pm with a scripture service at 7:00pm. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 23rd at 9:30am at St. Andrew the Apostle Catholic Church, 3450 W. Ray Rd., Chandler, AZ.
