Alice Spry

Alice Spry, 82, of Phoenix, Arizona, passed peacefully into the arms of her Lord and Savior on November 29, 2025.

Born with an adventurous spirit and a generous heart, Alice lived a life full of faith, independence, and love for the world around her. After many years in Cordes Lakes, she made her home in Phoenix, where she became a devoted member of Arizona Community Church. She found strength, comfort, and purpose in her walk with God.

Alice had a deep passion for the natural beauty of Arizona. Whether hiking desert trails, looking for rocks, or exploring mountain paths, she felt closest to God surrounded by His creation. Her love of adventure never faded. Even at 81 years old, she drove by herself all the way from Arizona to Florida, a testament to her bold independence and adventurous spirit.

Baking and cooking for others brought Alice joy, and was an expression of her love and care for family, friends, and neighbors.

Alice is survived by her son, John Spry and wife Julie; her daughter, Lesa Black (Spry); and her grandchild, Ky Spry. She leaves behind a legacy of faith, independence, adventure, and a life beautifully lived. She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to know her.

Her family takes comfort in knowing she is now at peace and reunited with her Savior.
