It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother Ann (Karrie) Carmel Schultz, who departed this life on January 9, 2026, at the age of 90. She was born on April 9, 1935, in Dublin, Ireland and lived a life filled with love, kindness, and dedication to family, friends and faith.
Karrie was a cherished mother to her four children—Michele, Mark, Deirdre, and Celine—and a wonderful grandmother to Brianna, Meaghan, Michael, Brendan, Sean, Ryan, Donnchadh, Colin, and Aiden. She also had three great-grandchildren—Charlotte, Sophia, and Cameron, whom she loved deeply. Karrie was a treasured part of The Oaks retirement community, known for her steady friendship, warm smile, and the many meaningful ways she impacted those around her. She was always ready to lend a helping hand, offer words of encouragement, and share in life's celebrations and challenges.
Throughout her life, Karrie was passionate about her family and friends…especially four-legged friends! She found joy in being around dogs of all kinds and had several cherished dachshunds throughout her life.
Ann is survived by two of her children, Mark and Deirdre. She was predeceased by her husband Russell and daughters Michele and Celine.
A memorial mass for Ann (Karrie) Schultz is planned for January 29, 2026, at 10:30 am at Saint Mary Magdalene Roman Catholic Church, located at 2654 E. Williams Field Road, Gilbert.
Instead of sending flowers, the family asks that donations be directed to the Arizona Humane Society, an organization that was especially meaningful to Ann (Karrie) Schultz.
Although Ann (Karrie) Schultz will be missed, her legacy of compassion and warmth will continue to inspire everyone whose lives she touched.
