

She was born on December 7, 1950, in Buffalo, New York to Charles Vincent and Bertha (Valenti) Pecoraro. A 1968 graduate of Bishop McMahon High School, she worked as a secretary of the board of education in Buffalo. She met the love of her life, Lawrence “Larry” Queeno, in January 1973, and they were engaged in April, married in November. She then worked as a teacher’s aide, until 1998. Her and Larry moved to Mesa in 2000. She loved to cook, bake, entertaining during the holidays with her family and friends, loved going to the casinos and playing bingo. She was loved by family and friends, and she made friends with everyone she met.
Antonina is survived by her husband of nearly 42 years, Larry; sons Larry (Maria), Sam (Gina), and Charlie; grandchildren Sammy, Vinny, Joey, Elizabeth; siblings Joseph (Diane) Ruffino, and Bettyann (Frank) Canzoneri. Preceded in death by sister Catherine (Ronnie) McGregor brother Anthony Pecoraro.
Memorial Mass will be held on Thursday, August 6, at 11:00 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 1244 S Power Rd, Mesa, AZ 85206.
An Additional Mass will be held at Holy Angels Church, 348 Porter Ave. Buffalo, NY 14201 on August 31st at 10:00am
Arrangements were entrusted to Mariposa Gardens Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the National Diabetes Organization, or the National Kidney Foundation.
