Arthur John Robinson

Art passed away peacefully in his sleep on August 16th, 2015 in Mesa, Arizona in his 89th year.

He is predeceased by his parents, Robert and Mabel Robinson, his first wife, Lorraine Ross, his second wife, Joyce Wrenn, son James, daughter-in-law, Ruth, his sisters Kay and Margaret and step sons Ronald Wrenn ( Mary) and Mark Wrenn.

Art is survived by his son John (Barbara), Canada, daughter Joyce (Fred), California, grandsons AJ Robinson (Chrissie) and Chuck Moore (Sharon), Michigan, four step children Phyllis( Bob) Ohio, Gary (Dawn)Michigan, Peter (Melanie) Indiana, Lynn(Keith) Florida, step grand children and step great grandchildren.

Art was born in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada on December 18th , 1926.He grew up in Sarnia and moved to Ohio in 1953 for a job at the Ford Stamping Plant in North Field, Ohio. He was a Tool and Die Supervisor at Ford. He was a volunteer fireman in Northampton Township Volunteer Fire Department, Ohio. Art lived for a few years in Algonac, and Oscoda, Michigan, Florida and then moved to Arizona in the mid 1980’s. He was a member of the Elks Club.

Art and Joyce enjoyed gambling, happy hours and their trailer in Pinetop. Art loved buying new Ford trucks and cars every couple of years. He enjoyed fishing on his boat on the St. Clair River, Michigan and in Pinetop, AZ.

A special thank you to Linda and Bob Ewald who supported Art’s family by visiting him and bringing snacks etc. while Art was in

Retirement Homes and hospital stays.

Cremation has taken place, and a private family celebration of his life will take place at a later date.

Art requested that those who remember him, share a memory and a drink in his honour, preferably Bush Lite!
